If user in list rule

Post by Dan » 2008-05-20 23:11

I would like a feature where I could check if an user is in a list.txt and if he is, then do some action with that email.

This could be fairly easily achieved with a script I expect.

I'd kindly suggest you to use DB for such feature and as mattg said it would be easier and feasible to do with a script.

Hi Guys.... script yes, but I am no coder :-(
Also I have these lists that I use for other things as well.....
So if I had to go for DB solution, I would have to hire a coder to do the integration in the other applications as well.

Well you will have to hire Martin to write it into hMail so there is no difference really.
If at first you don't succeed, bomb disposal probably isn't for you! ヅ

If you choose to do it by a script you can hire any coder which can do VBScript programming. I won't implement very customer-specific features into hMailServer because you don't know VBScript programming. And this sounds a bit like such a feature. :)
