I got a little problem with SM mod

Post by ansu2723 » 2004-07-15 08:55

I got a little problem with SM mod...

I have latest HMailserver, latest PHP, latest perl, SM mod installed on my Windows 2000 Server.
I can log in on the first screen, but when i get in only the right frame is visible. The left frame is white.

It looks like the password only works once. As you can see from the hMailserver log.

Do you have any suggestions?

Maybe register_globals has to be on in order for SM to work? I am not sure, but that could be the thing, it's turned as off standard in latest PHP

i don't believe that SM is the reason in your problem, what i think is there are many current connection in your server. did you check/or read the white page you encounter. my suggestion is check your IIS settings.

If you are using IIS, did you edit the redirect.php in the SM src directory?

There are some good instructions, including the redirect.php change at:

Thank you. The promlem was in the redirect.php.

I changed
header("Location: $redirect_url");
to
echo "<html><head><META HTTP-EQUIV=\"Refresh\" CONTENT=\"0;
URL=$redirect_url\"></head><body><a href=$redirect_url>Enter</a></body></html>";

Now it works. Thank yoy.

if you'd follow the directions under http://www.concept4.ca/diy/diy.html everything will work out perfectly for you..

try turning off error reporting in your php.ini. you shouldn't be seeing those errors. do that - you won't see the messages and it'll still work.

You should turn off notices.
Replace
error_reporting = E_ALL
in your php.ini with
error_reporting = E_ALL & ~E_NOTICE

This will show all errors except for those notices..
