Inline images in SM and ilohamail and hm4 b112

Post by gabrielharrison » 2005-06-16 09:57

Hi,

Can you tell me if inline images should be displayed correctly with hm4?

I have an html message source here http://www.ghserver.co.uk/public/hmailserver/email.txt and the parts are all accessable as individual items but they are not displayed as part of the html.

Thanks,

Gabriel

Do you correctly see the images inlined using Outlook or Thunderbird?

hMailServer should have no impact on how an email looks, that's entirely up to the email client. What versions of SM and IlohaMail are you using?

Do you have the Show HTML Version enabled in your SM display settings? I think this is disabled by default.

Hi,

I think Thunderbird and OE work find. I say I think because I'm not sure if they download the whole message including attachments and then display it or if they download all the attachments separately as SM presumably does.

I am using SM 1.4.4 although I did install 1.4.5 briefly and think it had the same problem.

I am going to upgrade to HM4-b118 and see if that fixes things, read: http://www.hmailserver.com/forum/viewto ... 853f#12114

I've just upgraded to 4.0-b121 and it is working brilliantly.

Thanks Martin!
