hmailserver.mx available

Post by palinka » 2019-07-20 13:18

On a whim, I looked to see if hmailserver.mx is available. It is.

https://www.godaddy.com/domainsearch/fi ... lserver.mx

Edit - I just went to buy it to hold onto it for the community, but godaddy wants $75 for 2 years. Sorry, gents. Someone else will have to carry that torch.

Mexico, schmexico… DOT MX is just a cool TLD for email, that's all. No other reason necessary. :D

If it were $6 like godaddy falsely claimed in the link, I would have bought it in a minute. By the way, that's one reason I hate godaddy - because of their shysterism - but that's another topic.

One thing you have to watch out for Go Daddy is they will tell you if you want to cancel something and get a refund that they will give it back to you but what Go Daddy doesn't make clear to you is that while they will credit you back the unused portion of whatever you have purchased (such as maybe 2 years of a 5 year Domain purchase) you have to use that credit to purchase something else. They will not just actually credit back to say your credit card. You have to use the credit to purchase something at Go Daddy in order to so called get credit back.
