since I cant find much on the beer in the off topic ramblings ... and since it's beer night being Friday ...

what's your fave tipple?

Quite a fan of 'Black Sheep' real ale myself.

I'm trying to stay away from alcohol at the moment. I do like staropramen though. :)

ye nice stuff .. used to drink that when I was in London - dont seem to get it up't north.

well ... since your keepin off the stuff for a bit and noone else seems to be drinking I guess I'd better go make up for everyone! .. have a good one .. catch yas all tomorrow at some point no doubt!

Hmmm.. I guess drinking is pretty popular there in Europe? It's not here though in Indonesia, maybe because it's warm already -- and would be hot if drink alcohol lol.

And it's expensive D:

For years I only drank two brands of beer:

"Reissdorf" which is a local specialty from Cologne, these beers are named after their city -> "Kölsch" (Köln ist the German name for Cologne). It was my favourite among the 26 kinds of Kölsch.

And "Bitburger" - it's a "Pils" and has a drier character.

But for more than three years I'm complete "dry". I quit drinking alcohol in general because I wanted to change something in my life (and lost about 50kg of weight, btw). This doesn't mean that I had a problem with alcohol, but I don't miss it.
