Haha, no no no. Please don't stress me. I'm not going to give any estimates any more and instead just give status reports (until I can spend more of my time working with hMailServer and because of that give good estimates).

I'm still running it on my server but there is some weird things going on. Whenever it rejects a spam message it reports a critical error in the log related to it which I can't figure out the reason of. I'm running debug versions and trying to pinpoint that. The next issue is that i found problems with the unicode implementation so in the first alpha hMailServer Administrator won't support it properly. (my development environment apparantly doesn't support Unicode so even though I have implemented support for it it doesn't work - great).

Hehehe that's what I was trying to do :) I hope you can find the reason before it drives you crazy... Unicode support was the most important feature for me though I again hope you can figure that out as well. I know it's always easy to say things...

Take it easy!
Peace.

There will be unicode support in final version 5. I've spent quite a huge amount of time on converting the server core to Unicode and I won't give up just because the user interface doesn't support it fully. It will require quite a lot of additional work in hMailServer Administrator though and this is why it won't be included in the alpha.

The COM API will support unicode in the alpha so you can continue with your web mail client work when you get it..

That's great cause anyway I'm using Administrator in English and that's not what clients see. Thanks a lot for converting the server core and the way you choose to manage the situation.

But it will (at least might) still be a problem in the alpha. If your users specify an out-of-office message using for example an japanese alphabet, and you then open this account in hMailServer, the characters will be displayed incorrectly. If you then save the account, the japanese out-of-office message will be overwritten with the incorrect characters.

I still don't even allow em to dis/enable out-of-office message. They don't have such choice :) I just made really ergonomic design which I'd also like to show you when it's done and that's it. If somehow I can make some money then I can invest and add more properties... So the only think I care is the message's content.

Martin: Does V5 implement with Domain Key?
In my case(Chinese, Big5) like with Kaan1983. I change the local language file to remind user this function can't support in Chinese.

No. But if you search for domain keys in the forum you'll find a way to add it to the current versions.

I knew this topic about 2~3 month ago, but I still have no idea with implement Domain Key. I knew how to use Openssl key files, but I don't know how to setup those script(including VB script and Perl script) and DKIM DNS file correct.

By the way, I found the other one who look likes has same issues with the setup steps. http://www.hmailserver.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10922

How about we start the count at 200 and just skip a few now and then if martin gives us good news?
