Problems testing hmailserver

Post by vibarco » 2007-02-15 14:43

Hi all,

just had installed hmailserver to test in my local machina and after reading all the documentation i have problems, could you help me?

Installed in my local machine, when i tried to send email locally trhough microsoft express i can't send messages. Outlook says can't connect SMTP port 25, doesn't hmailserver install a SMTP server?

My SMTP-> delivery of e-mail -> host name = localhost

Outlook pop3 and smtp localhost.

What's hapening?

Regards,
Vince.

No Slug,

it's strange.

Telnet to pop3 locally ok, but smtp (25) failed.

Vince.

TCP 0.0.0.0:25 0.0.0.0:0 LISTENING
Something is listening on port 25.
Your antivirus or firewall software might be interfering.
