Socket Errors

Post by Hotlanta » 2006-12-27 21:40

I noticed something in my error log that I hadn't seen before. Any idea what would cause these errors, and should I be concerned?

They do indicate a problem, but it's impossible to say whether it's something you need to worry much about. To be able to say that, you need to enable all logging and check in the log to see what's causing it.

These problems are sometimes caused by 3:rd party software, such as virus scanners which are monitoring network traffic and bandwidth limiters.

Are these log snippets from a server running in production?
