Manually deleting a mailbox

This is expected behavior. The Admin UI will be unresponsive while the database and file system is purged of objects related to the mailbox. For a 250GB mailbox, that's going to be a lot of table rows and .eml files to delete. Just be patient.

Alternatively, there is an example of how to delete an account via scripting in the documentation here: https://www.hmailserver.com/documentati ... unt_delete

If you delete via script, the admin utility should remain responsive while the process executes asynchronously.

I hope you haven't crashed out of the program once you stated with impatience as you might have now left orphaned entries or email files. You may need to do the delete script then run dds to be sure.
