Attachments buildup in root directory

Post by jimwatt » 2019-01-02 00:04

My server has been running fine for several years but I notice that I get a build up of copies of attachments in the disk root directory. I just delete them from time to time but is there a config setting wrong which causes this ?

windows 2008 R2 Hmailserver 5.6.6.B2383

Apologies if its been asked before but have done a search with no luck.

Nothing to do with default hmailserver. Maybe you have implemented a script function running that detaches attachments? What are the extensions of the files?

Sorry for the delay in reply, no I have not implemented any scripts for that.
