Email address 'Store and Forward' with Hmail Server

i also run Helm with Hmail 4.0 i havn't try the store and forward yet. do hmail support such feature?

It is possible to mimic this functionality by creating a rule for the account that forwards the email to the desired location(s).

So, the Helm developers could implement this functionality (but obviously have not done so yet).

i tho it was email server that suppose to support this type of features. interesting, i'll put it in their suggestion forum.

Most mail servers I have dealt with do have the store and forward as a simple flag that can be set on the account, but the way I described is how hMailServer currently works.

If Helm wants to offer this functionality for hMailServer then they would need to add code to create the rule as I described. At the very least, they should give you an error telling you that Helm doesn't support that option with hMailServer when you try to use it.

I've added a feature request that it should be possible to do forward of email without using rules. You can vote for it..

how do you setup rule in hmail to forward email? i click on the email account that i want it to forward email to and setup the rule in action to forward email to a gmail account. it didn't forward any email to my gmail account.

i don't see any doc on how the rule work. can someone help me out?

You must set up a rule criteria that matches the messages you want to forward.

Does anyone know if they can get this to work with Helm control panel and the check box store and forward option right there for helm users to use?
