Blocking traffic from unwanted countries

Post by kani » 2012-09-19 12:35

In the last few days each account on a domain got about 400+ spam emails from a spammer from China. Recommended spam settings did not help as this spammer is very smart using different from address for each email. Finally I managed to stop all mail traffic from China using a script that helped me import entire country ip/ranges.

Posting here just in case someone wants to do something like this.

A BIG Thanks to SANS.
