Hi,
I was wondering if I can get some help here. I was sending someone an email but received a delivery status notification (failure) with the following message
The following message to <> was undeliverable.
The reason for the problem:
5.3.0 - Other mail system problem 554-'5.7.1 Message cannot be accepted, content filter rejection'
Does it mean I have composed something in my message which is being rejected by their mail server? I did not write anything fancy apart from some bullet points and some text in Outlook 2010.
I run hmailserver 5.3-B1617 with ASSP 1.8.1.4.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thank you

Re: Getting bounced back email content filter rejection
It means the remote server did not like something about your email but they are not specific beyond 'content' which likely eliminates your IP address, HELO & from address but not necessarily. In the end you'd only know if you asked them depending on who they are they may or may not cooperate & share that info.

Re: Getting bounced back email content filter rejection
Thank you. I'll give them a call to find out why.
