Spool Counter?

Hi All,
I was wondering if there is a script, or any type of application that would check the spool, and, depending on its size, send a notification via email; you know, in case of a spam attack.

none to my knowledge but you can easily access the database and check how many messages are in the queue or access the data directory and see how many files are in there.

Actually I believe JamesDR in IRC made such a beast & thought he planned to share in the scripting forum but will check with him.

Does with Nagios, however, could be modified to suit.

OK I posted up a mod'd version of rolaids0 queue script that doesn't require nagios so can be run from task scheduler or called from monitoring tool (checking the return code if desired) where it sends an email if the queue is above the defined limit: http://www.hmailserver.com/forum/viewto ... 32#p126932
