Mailbox closed message

Post by kevin@wine.co.za » 2011-02-15 15:54

Forgive me if I am missing something, but is there a way to make a mailbox inactive AND to send an autoreply message.
i.e I want to 'close' a mailbox and then set up an autoreply to say " this mailbox is now closed" or " I am on long holiday and not checking my mail " (We should be so lucky !!)

Thanks

Kevin

You can setup an account rule to send a reply but the mail would be accepted. You can disable an account but the rule would not be ran.

I don't see any easy way of sending a reply and denying access unless you use a script.
If at first you don't succeed, bomb disposal probably isn't for you! ヅ
