Hi,
I have yet another strange problem (don't know if it comes from the hMailServer).
I'm sending out ~13.000 newsletters for a customer with an ASP.net Webservice, but it always stops arround 1.300 mails (+/-100).
Now my question:
Is there any limit like max. messages (don't think so because of the difference) or time limit for an SMTP session?
Thanks in advance
Best regards,
Alex

No to both your questions. More likely your web asp script is timing out.
If at first you don't succeed, bomb disposal probably isn't for you! ヅ

A word of caution here. If you're sending out mass mails you might risk getting yourself placed on a spam blacklist, especially if you have a static IP address.
If this is a regular thing, I'd suggest finding alternatives for your mass mails. The company I work for, for example, does its mass mailing via a DotMailer account, specifically so our public IPs, which handle our emails amongst other things, don't get listed as spam servers.

Hello aschoenf, if You are using ASP - Classic or .Net - You must take care for the timeout of Your script!
I send every month a newsletter - with classic ASP - to about 20.000 recipients with no problems.
Kind regards
