Is it safe to empty the hm_deliverylog?

I've disabled the deliverylog in 4.4.3 then I'upgraded up to 5.3.
Is it safe to empty the hm_deliverylog table?

I can see it's not updated.

Yes, it is not even available any more in 5.3 unless you use a script. You can truncate that table
If at first you don't succeed, bomb disposal probably isn't for you! ヅ

no harm leaving it if it's empty, may cause upgrade problems if you nuke it.

Caused to many problems if people enabled it and left it causing the database to grow over limits and cause the mailserver to become slow.
If at first you don't succeed, bomb disposal probably isn't for you! ヅ
