Awstats stop working after hmail upgrade

Post by maggiore81 » 2009-10-04 09:41

I was running happily the hMail release 5.0 B326 with awstats 6.9.
Then I upgraded to 5.2.1 B361.

The awstats configuration is unchanged but now I get the following error:

C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\awstats>perl -config=mailserver -update
Create/Update database for config "./awstats.mailserver.conf" by AWStats version
6.9 (build 1.925)
From data in log file "C:/Programmi (x86)/hMailServer/Logs/hmailserver_awstats.l
Phase 1 : First bypass old records, searching new record...
Direct access after last parsed record (after line 235432)
AWStats did not found the LogSeparator in your log records.
Setup ('./awstats.mailserver.conf' file, web server or permissions) may be wrong
Check config file, permissions and AWStats documentation (in 'docs' directory).

The significant part of my config file for awstats is:

LogFormat="%time2 %email %email_r %host %host_r %method %url %code %bytesd"

Also on the docs on hmail site, the log format for 4.x and 5.x build is specified, but it is exactly the same.

How can I resolve?

This is a known bug that has been fixed in 5.3 and a quick forum search would have yielded the answer you wanted. ... it=awstats ... it=awstats
