After serveral restarts of the hmailserver service the STATUS counts do not increase. sometimes they will trigger one or two, but then is where they stop even knowing I"m watching emails travel through the logging.
upgrade of 4.x to 5.0. with one spam filter that moves anything tagged as spam to another account and then deleted the original.
Causes?

Does the log increase on every event occurred?

Not quite sure of you question but as I state you can watch emails travel through the system as expected by the live log.
