Post by gray » 2008-03-02 00:31

I know this is so basic but I cant get my email client configured to work with hmailserver. If my domain is http://www.something.com would the smtp settings be smtp.something.com ???

Thanks

You have to have your MX records setup and follow those.

SMTP setting (Outgoing email server) is address of your email server. It can be the same as incoming mail server. In some cases internet service providers block third party email servers and you must use their outgoing email server.
