Moving to a new server

"- that you install the same version of hMailServer on the new computer. I haven't really thought it through, but if you install another hMailServer which includes a different set of files, you may be in trouble. "

New server: 4.4.1-B273
Old was: 4.4-B270

Both in same directory path c:\hmailserver

Should I uninstall 4.4.1 or do you think these two versions are close enough to try to migrate across? Database will also have to be copied between Mysql servers.....

How many domains/users/messages are you talking about? It seems like it would be safer to mimic the the old server, copy files, then upgrade the new server. Any reason you can't or don't want to do that? My 2c...
