How does wildcard work in rules?

Post by DrmCa » 2023-05-29 01:20

Are they SQL wildcards, i.e. %, or are they filesystem wildcards, i.e. *?

Thanks!

See link for Rules:

There are two types of Wild Cards.

1st result.

The same appeared after typing "wildcard" in the search box on the documentation page too.

I find most people who ask questions like this don't simply click on 'Help' at the bottom of the Rules Window (in this case) in hMailAdmin. That's what I did to give you the link I pointed you to. You can also go into hMailServer.Com>Documentation. Select Latest and try to look for it by finding the category of what you are looking for. I find going to the Rules in hMailAdmin and clicking on Help is the easiest way in most cases.
