Blat.exe and hMailServer

Postby daveplummermd » 2009-12-30 18:09

Can hMailServer act similarly to blat.exe?

I have successfully installed hMailServer, and wish to send intermittent e-mails. In the past I have used blat.exe along with commands line parameters that include server, authentication, body, from....etc .

I cannot get blat.exe and hMailServer to work well together.
I suspect that all the functionality I require is contained in hMailServer.

Is there a way to send e-mails by calling hMailServer.exe with command line parameters?

Thanks in advance

WOW....thanks for the rapid response!

Do you know...are there restrictions for where (what directory) the *.bat file or blat.exe can reside?

Thanks in advance

Sometimes accounts are removed for one reason or another and the users choose to remove their posts along with the deletion. I believe this is why you don't see the results.

Best to start a new topic and post specific issues you are having along with hmail diagnostics and any logs that may be useful.
If at first you don't succeed, bomb disposal probably isn't for you! ヅ
