Bad word filter - spam test

Post by Kendo » 2019-09-12 22:55

I looked but didn't find an existing rule for this...

Filter email by words listed in static file.

I used to use a spam filter which could list words and a score. If their total count was above a threshold then delete/etc. I found this most useful as it could be easily updated. As a text file one could sort alphabetically. It would look something like...

drugs, 30
rock'n'roll, 10
sex, 30

Question 1: is such a script already available for hMailserver?
Question 2: who else is interested in such a script?

If none exists, then I will start development and formulate it in Classic ASP, then hire a VB programmer for final coding. I think that it needs to have an inclusion list for email addresses to filter, thus leaving others unfiltered.

All comments will be appreciated.

Most interesting... a similar script does exist. Internal search was useless, but Google returned this post...
