Adding the DomainID in the message table

Post by bjanzen » 2009-11-25 05:35

Currently there is the accountid that is linked to the email address of the user. I think adding the DomainID as well will help when searching through the messages. Also enable reporting per-domain as far as total amount of msg are stored.

Just a though.

Why would you need to have the domain ID in the message table, when you can also just look on what user has this message, and then that user is in domain A while another user is in domain B.

I can't see the extra function of adding the domain id in the message table.

There's no way the domainid will be added to the message table. It doesn't make any sense. There's already an indirect relation via the account ID. Use a join or something..
