post-processing

Post by animalfree1 » 2004-02-20 23:32

There are two potential enhancements that could be considered for a future release:

1 - enhanced spam protection via support for SPAM Assassin.
2 - enhanced server protection via support for anti-virus software.

I'm going to propose the following enhancement that would provide support for both of the above scenarios and many others unlisted:

* - post-processing support for messages on a domain-by-domain basis...

post-processing would allow server administrators to use third-party tools to analyze for viruses, spam, and other business functions (auto-lists) with great leverage....

perhaps this can be considered in the future...even instead of filters this would be more powerful...
