Error in logging?

Postby A.Schmidt » 2016-05-12 17:19

Hi,

investigating a potential problem in e-mail sending, I've checked the log files. Here I've mentioned that the storage path for delivered e-mails is not logged properly:

"APPLICATION" 2568 "2016-05-12 17:02:25.007" "SMTPDeliverer - Message 682464: Delivering message from a.schmidt@wsa-electronic.de to xxx@wsa-electronic.de. File: E:\hmail-data\{D2001900-1F90-4F17-ABE3-92D75088B751}.eml"

Actually, the e-mail is stored in

"E:\hmail-data\wsa-electronic.de\xxx\D2\{D2001900-1F90-4F17-ABE3-92D75088B751}.eml"

It seems to me that the logging function considers only the base storage path but disregards the data structure that results from the configured e-mail accounts.

Kind regards and a big thanks for this wonderful application!

There is nothing wrong with this.

Prior to delivery the file is in

E:\hmail-data\{D2001900-1F90-4F17-ABE3-92D75088B751}.eml"

which is exactly what the log says. If the delivery failed then it would still be in "E:\hmail-data\{D2001900-1F90-4F17-ABE3-92D75088B751}.eml".

Only after delivery does the file then get moved to "E:\hmail-data\wsa-electronic.de\xxx\D2\{D2001900-1F90-4F17-ABE3-92D75088B751}.eml".
