hMailServer 4.0 - Build 83 (Alpha)

Post by martin » 2005-03-02 00:42

New build available:
http://dev.hmailserver.com/hMailServer-4.0-Build-83.exe

Changes since yesterdays build:

* If you're upgrading doing a fresh 4.0 install, and you're using the internal MySQL database, the hMailServer service will be automatically configured to be dependant on hMailServerMySQL.

* If you have already installed hMailServer, and the service is not dependent on the database server, you can run one of the scripts located in \hMailServer\Addons\Service dependencies

* Some minor changes so that labels are visible in italian.

* Added a possibility to select the language in hMailAdmin. If you select File->Select language, you get a dialog where you can choose language. The menu option and dialog will always be shown in english.

* The installation now contains the latest strings.

Code: Select all

* If you have already installed hMailServer, and the service is not dependent on the database server, you can run one of the scripts located in \hMailServer\Addons\Service dependencies
ATENTION if your Mysql service name is not MySql this WILL NOT WORK!
for exemple, if your mysql service have the name "mysql41" this will not permit hmailserver to run.
to fix this, go to "[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\hMailServer]"
and change the value of string "DependOnService" to your service name.

have a nice day :)

PS: this "fix" aplyes to the people have the external mysql server.

Because I need to copy that language manually and I haven't done that until now. (So it will be included in the next build).

Czech contains non-ansi characters so I haven't figured out a good way to automatically extract them from the MySQL-database and store them in an inifile.
