outbound mail :
if FROM is ...@mydomain.com, mail must leave HMS with FROM: ...@mydomain.eu
(both domains exist locally)

ALT + TAB may not show TB certificate dialog, it doesn't show up in taskbar either. it's better to click "get messages", not touch anything and wait.
BTW, can you pls tell about your IP ranges? i suppose Stunnel was talking to localhost, ok. how is LAN or WAN?

I have enabled greylisting, this should resolve most of this issue. well done. i hope it stops this nasty spamming. greylisting is a very powerful method. at our site it cuts almost 100% of malware. today is the 6th day without a single incident in ClamAV logs for instance!! activate URIBL (SURBL) in HMS too, if not yet.
dbl.spamhaus.org and multi.surbl.org are good to start with.

message is messed up with random content to fool Bayes filters. difficult case... sometimes some spam is like zero-day malware. you can't do much at first strike.

Thanks for your enlightening inputs. FWIW i'll keep using it on my home setup and try to learn more about it. Oh and... I guesstimate there are minimum 10.000 Installed SpamAssassin systems (Unix only) for each installed ASSP system. Linux distributions include SpamAssassin by default, you know... :)
