But how can i make a sql querry ? with VBS ?? .. but its a bit difficult to connect vbs with MySQL .. You don't do SQL via VBS, you do SQL via commandline or MySQL Query Browser, and use VBS for API calls to hMailServer. I'm not the biggest VBS shark around so I opted for SQL and this should work.....

You could try the directory Short Name (for non-8dot3 names)... The one that makes "C:\Program Files" look like "C:\PROGRA~1" to get around the problem..

I found this http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=113930 where the poster suggests changing "connect_timeout=30" to "connect_timeout=1440". I am sure he means "read_timeout" because when I check with MySQL Admin, connect_timeout defaults to 28800 and read_timeout defaults to 30.

I only use bl.spamcop.net and zen.spamhaus.org, works fine.

Blocking port 25 is good and bad! Bad because we run into problems we can't control, and good because it will eventually bring down SPAMbots.
During the last two days my server received 1575 mesages of which 1 contained virus and 1684 messages was classified as SPAM...

What I do see when investigating the domains in error, the domains do exist (using WhoIs) but no IP address is assigned to them.

The only way to be completely sure everything works, and prevent anyone from tampering with email contents, is to build VPN's from local offices to the main site. But that's a completely different story :-)

Could it be that the ISP (for your remote officies) started blocking port 25 in a weird way, as in blocking the reply from the remote smtp server? It would make sense for SPAM prevention, as the SPAM application would spend ages of time waiting for reply (and timeout) before it can go on to the next...

Aparently I had uninstalled the Admin GUI from the WXP client, when I installed it again - it worked.
Subsequently I installed the Admin GUI on the W2K3SRV client and now the script works there too :-)

Last time I made a copy of my server, to play with, I did a full backup, installed the new server on a new pc and restored the backup on the new server. Voila! Process took 2 hours, of which my presence was required for a total of 10 minutes. :-)
