Re: why this mail goes to gmail spam folder? What else can I
No dmarc ?? They match... Received: from recepcija-polis.com ( recepcija-polis.com . [93.103.7.212]) Yes they match. But so can I change HMS/Settings/Protocols/SMTP/Delivery of e-mail/ local host name from mail.dbstudio.si to dbstudio.si. They too then match, but mail still gets in SPAM folder. Br,...

Re: why this mail goes to gmail spam folder? What else can I
EHLO = mail.dbstudio.si mail.dbstudio.si resolves to 93.103.7.222 93.103.7.222 resolves to dbstudio.si <-- should be mail.dbstudio.si So I can contact ma ISP and ask to change PTR from dbstudio.si to mail.dbstudio.si Would this make it a better practice for PTR record? And this one is suspicious.. ...

Re: why this mail goes to gmail spam folder? What else can I
PTR record says dbstudio.si it normally should say mail.dbstudio.si my other domains have PTR like this, without mail. prefix and mail won't go into spam. But I use mdaemon mail server for other domains. All domains using hmailserver will end up in spam folder. Strange. I guess it can not be HMS's ...

Re: Separate IP adresses for each domain's SMTP
(BTW many of us have multiple domains hosted on a single IP, even in commercial environments. What you ask is NOT REQUIRED. gMail does NOT do that for hosted domains) Ok got it, not required. Example. I send email from test@domain2.com to my test gmail account. I look the mail source headers. It says. Received: from mail.domain1.com (as written in HMS/Setting/SMTP/Delivery of email field) but it should be Received: from mail.domain2.com I hope this make more sense. Thx Br, kd

Re: Separate IP adresses for each domain's SMTP
So this is used for incoming mail connections only. no quite the opposite. Re: Separate IP adresses for each domain's SMTP
You could try using a global rule, and deliver via route as the outcome This works! Thank you!!!! Only thing that might be nice to change is to have a different local host name per domain. Could I do that with Set Header Value rule and if so, what to enter? Thank you Br, kd localhostname.JPG

Re: Separate IP adresses for each domain's SMTP
I cant believe HMS doesn't allow that. An extremely old version of mail daemon has that feature by default. We use different IP for different domains for reverse dns records etc, but HMS can send out email only from one IP address. Aren't there any scripts to use different outgoing IP for each domai...

Re: spam attack - please help
It was full queue sending all the time. That explains it. I was doing all sorts of blocking thinking those attacks are real time, while queues was bypassing it all.
I think it's OK to only change password of the attacked account.
What do you think?

Is there any other way? I have quote a few users. Informing all about their changed passwords would not be so great.

Since everything (except message count status) works great, I think I will leave it as it is. If I do experience any problems I will do DDS.

Yes, it's enabled by default. I've also tried to stop the Apache and Pause the HMS but it still wont finish the indexing.percepts wrote:in your protocols/imap/advanced settings have you enabled IMAP sort which in combination with indexing should speed up sorts.
