@dimpase - Yes ask your ISP to do reverse DNS or PTR record for your IP to same host as your MX record usually. It should take them seconds assuming they know what you're talking about. lol

Yes a spoofed email address in mail from or email headers can easily cause spam filters to kick in. Test it with a normal email client using real settings & see if it works.. Remember, the more fishy what you're trying to do looks the more likely you are gonna get blocked. ;)

DNS issues.. Do you have more than 1 IP in DNS on your hmail server network settings? Maybe one of them is lame so as it alternates between them the problem starts/stops. woo hoo cool! Yup that woulda done it. Odds are you don't want local to ext unchecked under internet or someone on outside could send spam 'from' one of your domains. For Internet range you really want them all checked except external to local which has to be unchecked or you won't get incoming emai...
