The weird thing is that this used to run fine before 5.0 v5 has a lot more database stuff in it I think (esp the later versions) ... maybe SQL Server is reaching some memory allocation limit if its not using all available RAM? Don't know for sure, but most DBs have some form of max RAM allocation s...

I think it happens when theres 2 machines in the same mail box and one of them deletes a message ... sometimes the UID changes sometimes it doesn't.

Don't know why the UID would change though ... presumably thats dealt with on the server???

I know ... epic fail ... latest one is much better than the original 360's though ... apart from IMAP obviously. Tried Comodo for a bit till there update thing got jammed on all my pcs and set CPU to 100% ... known bug with there update process ... but less than helpful having to uninstall, reinstal...

MRTG graphs are closer to definition of "live".
most of the data comes direct from the hmail database ... not sure how to make it more live than that.

Suggest you use something else to do whatever you want to do.

Hi,

If you get the same result with the test code above then it's an installation problem.

Apache should work, just i don't use it. No reason why it wouldn't if it's setup correctly.

Get the test file working and see what happens.

I've had a few (6 today) emails reporting to be from HMRC about Unreported income ... they look pretty authentic until you trace the mail paths back. Not to mention you would need a Base OS of Windows Enterprise server (to see more than 3GB's of ram). any server x64 would do .. you dont need a core per server unless your mail is megga busy .. vmware is pritty good at dishing out cpu time. the old config will work for them still .. in effect you allowing mails on 2 ports .. so those without the problem wont have to do anything .. the ones with the problem will have to update there mail clients to use the new port.

I imagine that people see the clamwin tab, and then get clamwin, turn it on, and think all is good. probably. From memory (without searching forum) the sensible limit people hit is 4-5 mails/min with clamwin ... maybe the simplest solution would be to ask martin to add a note on the clamwin integra...

Clamwin works fine on my server ... low volume servers are fine with it ... high volume servers should use an alternative ... but that doesn't mean functionality should be removed from the server.
