So you have hMailserver and a webmail installed at your office? Or are they hosted elsewhere? Which webmail?

Can you connect to hMailserver with another e-mail client, like say Outlook express or thunderbird?

Try the troubleshooting guide, and report what you have done and what results you have.

You had better change your details for security (your web address in your signature, your mailserver address and account information in the logs, especially the password as it can easily be decoded from the log...). This shows a connection to your server, and then it looks like the message is queued...

Can you enable SMTP logging, and try to send locally again. The log you show is IMAP connections only. It shows your local mail client connecting and then 'idling'. At least you know that your client connects to your server... Also, because you say that you have hMailserver running on your personal ...

If the mail is waiting to be sent in your queue, it has been successful. Delivery won't have happened because the remote server is rejecting (or greylisting) it.

Outlook is widely regarded as having a fairly poor implementation of IMAP. In saying that, I use Outlook 2003 and hmailserver via IMAP across a LAN without this issue.

I think the problem is the domain doesn't have a valid a record.

I'm not certain that hmailserver uses a records to send mail to, but I would suspect that an invalid a record may prohibit successful mail sending.
