When you set up the user account, there is a box for password. If you don't remember what it has been set to, then edit the account and change it to something you will remember. You don't need to know the old user account password to change it.

Yes I know, I was just letting you know that mine wasn't related to startup mode. My similar previous issue was something else environmental.

I find greylisting extremely useful in limiting spam. This makes the sending mailserver 'try again'. This is automated at both ends, and doesn't result in script generated e-mails getting lost. Umm, Isn't that the job of the 'catch all'?

My understanding with Hmailserver is that if no recipient matches then the e-mail is rejected, unless the 'catch all' catches the e-mail.

(Although this is not the case with my ISP - who keep sending 'close' matches to my e-mail address with them)
