Yes, MS SQL.. Actually what happened on the server is when I was reinstalling hMS after uninstalled it upgraded the DB from the first V5 alpha to the last. But on WinXP it didn't do that... And on XP it says that there's some other service using the ports already and should be stopped. But it anyway...

It was an upgrade from Alpha 292 to 294 (or from 291 to 294

But remember I uninstalled and reinstalled Alpha 294 directly.

Firist one was Windows Server 2003
And the deveopment is on WinXP Pro.

I know it"s weird but doing the same error on both systems is interesting...

@Martin: I tried that but on the registry it seems to be depended on MSSQL. Nothing related to RPC.

@SorenR: Yes SorenR you are right about RPC but because hMailServer doesn't work there's no log.

Should I maybe uninstall and reinstall hMailServer?

I checked that and it seems to be depended on "Remote Procedure Call (RMC)" service. It works already but hMailServer doesn't.

How can I remove that service from hMailServer's dependency?

Just as an idea:

Backup and restore the DB, copy the data directory and synchronize. You will have e-mails and accounts as well.

I'm using the latest alpha.
Yes I programmed myself. It probably occured because a user clicked several times the 'create mail' button.
I'll disable the button first in on_button_click event. Let's see if it will ever occur again.
