Re: hMailServer for *nix/*BSD

One way to do this would be to run a small stripped down windows machine inside a vm in *nix. This works if you are trying to consolidate hardware... obviously doesn't help if you are trying to consolidate on free/open systems...

I'm sure its not hMail, but it is equally an integration issue between hMail and the phone(since this doesn't happen with other imap servers)... I know I won't get any support or fix from the phone vendor, so I just hope that whatever the phone imap client doesn't like may have randomly changed betw...

As of 12/19/2007 supposedly the wine bug listed by Martin is actually fixed, It would be interesting to see if anyone can get hMailServer running in wine now that it is fixed!

Does the 5 series alphas irrecoverably change the DB or could I got back to the 4 series if I had to many problems with 5? I just recently got a new phone which does IMAP, and something about 4 series cause the phone mail app (and thus the phone :( ) to crash, I'm thinking that perhaps the ssl suppo...

Scripting in Rule Vs Rule Order? (Alpha 4.4)

I created a little script that ran from a rule, It sucesfully added a header hm_whitelist=true Then I have another rule AFTER that one that looks for that header and moves it if it = true. The second rule never executes, however if I look at the msg, it does indeed have the new header in the msg. Ad...

In a nut shell you can't, the default roundcube password and user has to be via POST, not GET http requests. I have, and you could hack it so that either work... What I did is add: else if (isset($_GET['_user']) && isset($_GET['_pass']) && rcmail_login(get_input_value('_user', RCUBE_INPUT_GPC), get_...

I certaintly understand that point of view, don't feel that you need to implement it just because I took the time to play with it... I just get irritated seeing people say "If you don't like it its opensource so make a patch"... so I try to :) Frankly I'd love to actually be able to compile, but I j...

I went through and added this feature(Stop Rule Processing). I don NOT have the tools to compile the various pieces (stuck with VS 6) but it is quite simple and I have been exteremely careful used copy paste to ensure that there are no typos between different files etc. I believe that I have hit all...

SORT Support?

does hmail support SORT, especially on anything other then date? I see this conversation in my imap log: "IMAPD" 3456 270 "2007-01-20 00:04:27.062" "127.0.0.1" "RECEIVED: s SORT (SUBJECT) US-ASCII ALL" "IMAPD" 3456 270 "2007-01-20 00:04:27.062" "127.0.0.1" "SENT: s BAD Unknown or NULL command" Is my...

Stop Processing Rules Action?

I notcied that 4.4 alphas now include the awesome ability to adjust hte order rules are processed in. I was wondering if the ability to add a "stop processing" rules action is on the slate, or already implemented maybe?

Thanks
