Re: Add Rules using VBS

For all searching for the PredefinedIds, you can find it in the webadmin code in include/rule_strings.php. Even though it is PHP code I think those wanting to use it can read it: define("eFTUnknown", 0); define("eFTFrom", 1); define("eFTTo", 2); define("eFTCC", 3); define("eFTSubject", 4); define("e...

Add a few more features to filters

Hi guys, After a longer time I am making a post here again. Please don't kill me if a similar request has been made already, but I didn't find it  There are some similar requests but some may go too far or not far enough in my opinion and these few suggestions would give a great benefit withou...

Re: Negative Spam Score

This is exactly the same request I did some months ago and has been archived in between

I would really like to see this feature aswell .. now as there are spam scores used this should be rather simple to extend/implement.

I don't know if they also have other mechanisms .. this is only one possibility .. I'm not in their team ..

You can write a request.
They check at several blacklists (SORBS,...) if your requested IPs have been used for sending spam in the past.

BTW: This is not the only DNS Whitelist available: http://www.spamlinks.net/filter-dnsbl-l ... whitelists

So the chance of having a useless feature after some time is rapidly reduced ;-)

Well .. I wouldn't say that if DNSWL shutdowns it would be useless code because you can also use this feature for own whitelists too if it will be implemented in the same way as the DNS blacklists have already been. And I didn't say that you have to rely 100% on it. Their recommended usage is: 1.) S...

DNS Whitelist support

Is there a chance that DNSWL (DNS Whitelist ... http://www.dnswl.org/) will be implemented in hMailserver.
This would reduce false positives effectively and without much work on serverside.

I was already thinking of adding such a feature via some kind of script.

Whitelist on reverse dns (or sth similar)

Hi, I hope I do not post sth that has already been requested but I found nothing similar in this forum. I would find it useful to add an additional feature to this new whitelist feature of version 4.4. I would like to have the possibility to whitelist on base of the senders mailserverhost (not IP). ...

DataDirectorySynchronizer per Account

Hi, I would find it useful if it would be possible to use the DataDirectorySynchronizer per account .. maybe simply with a command-line parameter. It already happened twice that I exactly knew which account has problems but I had to use DataDirectorySynchronizer for my whole server which took severa...

What about implementing the possibility to disable virusscan for specific accounts?
This should be enough for most needs.
So you can disable virusscan for the mailadresses used for newsletter mailing.
Implementing this as addition to the above requested ip-range setting would be almost perfect.

Oh yes a blacklist would be fine and with the possibility (yinrunning's idea) of adding a time for whitelist and blacklist this would be almost perfect!

Logging stopped?

Hi everybody, Yesterday I had some hardware troubles with my server so I had to change to another machine and transferred all data there. On the new machine I installed the same version (4.2.2) of hmailserver and it seems to work as before. The database is also the same and working. But today I reco...
