I've been trying to get net::smtp to work, but there's some quirks. There are many solutions to sending automated mail, I just thought I'd ask for the feature in hMailServer since it would enable scripts that use sendmail with little/no changes (like when I used xmail). It would be a feature I would...

Can you give an example on when this is needed? I have some perl scripts that I used when I used xmail mail server, and it had a sendmail program that would operate like the unix equivilant. These scripts would do automations like email backup files, send an email to me when users were banned from ...

sendmail.exe hook

I would like to see a basic sendmail.exe that works in conjunction with hmailserver. This would enable scripts that need sendmail to work.

I personally love the idea of opensource, but I realize the benifets of either a large well organised development team, or cash inflow for a small team. If you look at most mature opensource software they follow one of those two types (or a combination thereof). A commercial version would be the way...

I'm trying to do the ssl pop3/imap/smtp, but clients can't seem to connect. I've opened addtional ports on my fiewall, and router I'm thinking it's a misconfiguration, if you have any suggestions they'd be appreciated. Here's my stunnel.conf file. CApath = C:/apache2triad/opssl/cert/ CAfile = certif...

I would still like a zip with the updated bins, scripts, languages beside the exe. You're the only one asking for it, so I probably won't fix it. If there are other users with the same request I'll consider it though. I'll follow the info listed here, but I'd like to request a zip distro. too. (II'...

Thanks, that was the fix. I'd skimmed through that page and missed the code goodness of if when I searched earlier. I'm glad you had sharper eyes than me. Anyways, thanks again.

Can't login to phpwebadmin

I'm having a login problem with phpwebadmin. I supply it the EXACT username and password specified in the config.php, and when I hit login it takes me to the same exact login pagen as a note the folder is phpwebadmin, and not PHPWebAdmin, and the directory in which hmailserver is installed is a non-...

My smtp relayer is localhost port 25
I have no routes setup. Should the relay be set to 0.0.0.0, or sitename.com, or left blank? Or now that I think about it relay should be empty correct?

BTW, thanks for your help. :D

I had thought it'd show both 127.0.0.1:25 and 0.0.0.0:25 . It does make sense that you would only need to bind it to all ports though. (which includes the 127 range) Also, I am sure that this is the only mail server running ( I set the old one to disabled using services.msc , and verified that the p...

hmail smtp port not shown?

I'm having problems sending out mail. My smtp relayer is localhost port 25 However when I run netstat -an it doesn't show anything on 127.0.01:25 it does however show 0.0.0.0:25. I've had a previous mail server setup without problems. So I don't believe port 25 is blocked by my ISP. Is there a confi...
