In your Squirrem Mail Config File you need to set the SMTP username and password that SM will use to connect to hMailServer.
I haven't used SM is a long time so you'll have to dig up the details on this but that's the basic idea

Re: Moving Messages to Another MB
No it's not an alias or forwarding i'm after. Just need any email message across the server that has a certain attachment type to be moved to a specific user account. i.e Any email sent to any user that has a .zip attachment be moved to zipfiles@mydomain.com (where mydomain.com is a domain hosted on...

Re: Moving Messages to Another MB
Yes it is to move it to another account, and I'd need it to run all the time I figured I'd need some sort of script for it. Just hoping someone had something readily available, or maybe some direction on where i can find some info to do it myself since I'm not much of a software/script writer. PS - ...

Moving Messages to Another MB
Morning, I am looking for a way to move any message with specific attachment extensions to a specific mailbox. I assume this will have to be a script that runs, but my scripting know how is very limited. I don't see anything on the user Contributed Scripts forum that will do this. Does anyone have s...

a dedicated mail server doesn't really need a massive amount of hardware to run effectively. That said you mentioned you may host email for smaller clients. In that case get the server with all the disaster features that are built in. I've run hmail on XP, 2003 Ent, Web and Standard. Each one has wo...

Well I never used SA but from what i read, ASSP is based on SA and upgraded in it's handling. Also I've heard that SA is slowly becoming outdated in the same way. But what i can say is that I've been running ASSP for several domains and in several locations and have had almost no problems. When the ...

Well I'd doubt it was an iPhone issue. I host the email for my moms business and she uses her iPhone constantly for her mail. She's never had an issue (that wasn't a problem with the iPhone) I would double check the settings on the phone itself. Can be a bit confusing if you aren't used to using a M...

IMAP Not responding correctly
I'm going to assume that I have something misconfigured, but I am just not sure what. Overview - When Roundcube on the webserver talks to hMailserver after a login is recieved, RC asks for a 'cp01 Capability'. hMail responds with with a gripe about using EHLO/HELO first. Yes I was just thinking that. No scripts or anything. I'm thinking the Virtual dedicated server i am on isn't sufficient to run this. POP3 Reports no new messages.
I'm seeing an odd problem for one of my users and I'm not certain how to rectify this. When the user attempts to download email via pop3 using Thunderbird, she recieves a message saying there are no new messages. Also in the logs I can see that this is what hMailserver is saying as well "POP3D" 5032...

hMailServer is more of a Mail Server rather than a client to retrieve mail from another mail server. Th...

very good site. It does appear there is a problem. MX is host name, not IP ERROR: You have one or more MX record(s) that contain an IP address. This is not valid.
