Brute Forcers....
Hello all, Almost every day I am getting various people that are trying to bruteforce my mailserver which is just plain annoying. I would like to suggest to add a feature that limits the users authentication attempts and automatically bans the user as soon as the authentication attempt limit has bee...

WebAdmin Require authentication for deliveries not available
Hi martin,
I discovered a minor problem, while configuring some settings with PHPWebAdmin I noticed that the options:
Require authentication for deliveries
- To local accounts
- To remote accounts
are not in PHPWebAdmin yet.
Is this for a reason, or did you forget to add them?
Regards,
Neil

Nice offer olger901.. As far as getting things up and running you can't beat this - http://wiki.horde.org/InstallHowToIIS But would be good to focus on a little more on what the hMail user wants as opposed to just a general install tutorial.. Oh you bet ya I sure can! :P:D Next to that I won't expl...

Horde configuration tutorial
Hello all, I was thinking of writing a horde configuration and basics tutorial, the question is how much interest is there amongst you all, as I am willing to write one (it will be pretty big and cost some time though) but before I do so I first would like to know how much interest is for it. Are yo...

Olger901, I would appreciate if you could do this: 1) Turn on Application, Debug and SMTP logging. 2) Send an email 3) Send the log to me at martin@hmailserver.com I doubt there's any changes in hMailServer between those two versions that would decrease performance noticeable. But as always, I migh...

What about torrents, next to real downloads
Hi Martin, I don't know if it's a stupid idea, but I suddenly came with the idea, why you don't distribute your downloads using torrents, that would save you alot of bandwidth, and if alot of people help sharing it would give good downloads speeds and it would only cost very little bandwidth for eve...

Loadable Module Support
Hello Martin, I tought it was perhaps a good idea to introduce Loadable Module Support. As I got a friend who would like to migrate to hMailServer but is missing several features he requires (like support for a MAPI connector). That way I can program my own modules for hMailServer and load them as m...

solution for running PHPWebAdmin as an alias with virtual...
Hello all, I found a great solution for when you are running PHPWebadmin as an alias with virtual hosts for multiple domains (so you don't have to put hMailAdmin in each domains root directory). All you should do is change this line: $hmail_config['rooturl'] = "http://www.mydomain.com/PHPWebAdmin/";...

Horde passwd module 1.0 beta 1 - for hMailServer 4.0
