Re: DKIM bug v 5.4-B1942

The signatures contains a list with the headers protected by the signature. In most DKIM implementations you can choose what headers to sign, and/or if the body is to be signed too. I tested the raw message source in a manual validator, and it proves what your saying isn't correct. I can manually ad...

Re: DKIM bug v 5.4-B1942

Not completely true, it will fail if any of the predefined signed headers or body changes, so if a header is added or changed that isn't part of the signed header hash it should have no effect. Correct me if I'm wrong. :) hMailServer seem to sign all headers, although other solutions only sign the i...

Hmm, your right, it seems it's added by the receiving Sendmail MTA. However, after some thoughts that header should not invalidate the DKIM signature cause hMail signed the following headers: From:Subject:Date:Message-ID:To:MIME-Version:Content-Type:Content-Transfer-Encoding; Probably the receiving ...

DKIM bug v 5.4-B1942

Hi! I would like to report a misbehaviour in hMailServer regarding DKIM signing feature. If sending an e-mail with ie. Yes there is a change in the database, 'glipaddress' is now named 'glipaddress1'. Just do a search for 'glipaddress' and replace with 'glipaddress1' in the file and everything will work again. What I meant was, lets say the localhost is 10.1.1.10, and all clients in 10.1.1.1/24 is sending without authentication. Because of this the script wont add external mail from the local network, one would need to add all 254 local IPs delimited with #.

You should make it possible in the settings to disable the automatic whitelisting of senders server(s). Don't remember the actual message word by word.

But it was something like "the server have reported an internal error". No SMTP problem or so, the error message code is in hexadecimal. Then waiting for some seconds and logging in again and it works.
