Automatic POP3 fetch with delay between each download
As I recently had some trouble with handshake errors during download of external accounts via POP3, I managed to get rid of the problem by using a vbs script included in a task scheduler task. In my case the problem occurred because many pop3 fetches started at the same time and then ended up in abo...

Re: TCPConnection - TLS/SSL handshake failed. (...), Error code: 1, Message: stream trunca
You cant't fix this Problem by changing or tweaking hMailServer or Windows settings. Your DSL signal cuts TCP Packets which are required to decode the Email message content. At this level, only fixing your DSL Problem will help. Or if its not DSL its your LAN cables or a switch which cripples hMail...

Yes, I understood. I ment it will get back to start all fetches at the same time when hms gets restarted. So it will only fix it for one day in my case. But anyway as I can now see it even does not. I adjusted all 18 accounts to different intervalls, some have 2 minutes, some 3, some 4 and some 5 mi...

Are you using 1&1 as Broadband DSL-Provider? If you are using a Fritzbox /or different DSL-Router, check your DSL-Sync / Noise reduction level. Restart your DSL-Router, update your Firmware and ping random ip addresses with -t against gmx.net and make sure there are no Timeouts. If there are Timeou...

TCPConnection - TLS/SSL handshake failed. (...), Error code: 1, Message: stream trunca
Hi all, recently I got complaints about some mailboxes (all get fetched from external pop3 accounts) not receiving mails for hours (randomly for about 3 or 4, sometimes even 8 hours). After checking the logs I found that endeed some of the accounts fail in SSL/TLS handshaking and so don't connect an...

Re: Status Tab Spam count
Ok, maybe it is just like this: HMS will then apply its own further checks. If it finds any itself another (minimum of) 2 will be added internally (making 7). If it hits 8 with its tests it will simply be deleted without a trace. From here (the tutorial I used): https://www.hmailserver.com/forum/vie...

So as I can see in the other thread you now have successfully switched to 5.7.0. Was it some kind of configuration problem? Do you remember what fixed it?

Re: External POP3 Fetcher - DELE without RETR - crashing frequently
Oh damn
Maybe because it was to early or I was too fast or I did not get the problem with this build or just because I use Team City for the first time
Sorry, backing up all again and installing build 2469 of 5.7.0 right now...
Thanks for the hint!! Will keep you updated.

Hi folks,

Anyone interested in log entries or minidump(s)?

Hi there,
any other hints on how to find the root cause or how to fix this problem?
Many thanks in advance for every response.
@martin: maybe it is just a simple oneliner like described here? https://github.com/hmailserver/hmailserver/issues/253

External POP3 Fetcher - DELE without RETR - crashing frequently

I wanted to share news on this: It seems to have been fixed during update from HMS 5.6.7-B2425 to HMS 5.6.7-B2427 (x64) as it asked for a database update from version 5601 to 5700. Done. Exact same result.
Only new thing I found was that 4 "undelivered mail returned to sender" (because of mail size exceeded) mails from the exchange domain where fetched in the meantime, but again nothing else from it.
