We migrated the domain today.
However, I learned that renaming the domain does a full copy of the old domain. The lack of storage is resulting in an error due to running out of storage. Is this the only way to rename the domain?

I have tested this by creating a new domain and it worked. I assume renaming the domain after the moving the MX records will not prevent us from accessing those emails past emails.
