A Linux version of hMailServer wont harm hMailServer on Windows. In fact: The HCD Project supports Windows, Linux, Mac and UNIX (Solaris) 64-Bit. The Main reason for Linux is to have a valid option to move on if Microsoft does some crap (Updates crashing Windows 10, or uinstalling Software ect) and ...

Re: hMailServer 5.7.0 64-Bit (LTS) - April Release with OpenSSL 1.0.2r update

I dont know if this is a good idea regarding stability.
As far as i know Rdvh doesnt rebase its changes upto the latest official 5.7.0 Source Code base.

As far as i know he doesnt publisch his modified Source code onto his Github Account on a regular basis, so that would be a shostopper to.

I think it all comes down to the DB-Field "messagenexttrytime" for delaying outgoing mails. UPDATE `hmailserver`.`hm_messages` SET messagenexttrytime = '2019-05-10 08:03:59' WHERE messagefilename = '{C6C3D5C8-8820-4BE0-923B-CD4C02708AD8}.eml'; If you run it via COM API Database Object, you can trigg...

You also can stop hMailServer, login into your DB and delete the orphaned DB Records yourself

For example like this:

DELETE FROM
'hmailserver'.'hm_messages'
WHERE
messagefilename like '{8F79335E-A0A3-4B0A-9099-6F802E6737D0}.eml'

After this, restart hMailServer, the Error should be gone.

If you simply overinstall it about your existing Installation all DB Data would still be in a correct state.

Now you need to extract your old DBSettings and insert it into your new DB.
