Re: Per-domain SMTP host name

Hello mert_erdem, If you have several domains like domain1.com, domain2.com, domain3.com, then you can define in the DNS settings of all domains, the same MX server, for instance: mail.domain1.com with the same IP address, even for domain2.com and domain3.com. This way you will be able to display on...

Re: Protect SSL/TLS private key files by a passphrase like the Apache HTTP server does with "SSLPassPhraseDialog" direct

Hello Matt, I tried to find the "Poll creation" tab as described in the forum doc but I haven't found it (I have probably not the appropriate permissions to create polls). My poll question could be the title of my post i.e. "To protect SSL/TLS private key files by a passphrase like the Apache HTTP s...

Protect SSL/TLS private key files by a passphrase like the Apache HTTP server does with "SSLPassPhraseDialog" directive

Hello development team, My goal would be to add an option to protect the SSL/TLS private key files by a passphrase, like Apache httpd does with its "SSLPassPhraseDialog" directive. As described in the Apache httpd documentation below: https://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.4/mod/mod_ssl.html#sslpassphrased...

Re: The DKIM signature is not added to E-mails sent from domains declared as aliases in the hmailServer settings

Hi Matt, A domain defined as an alias in hmailServer is, at DNS level, a full domain with independent DNS. Let's say that you have two domains for instance for a company having two brands: "yourfirstbrand.com" and "yoursecondbrand.com" then have the same E-mail box names under the two domains so you...

Re: The existing "ValidLanguages=" string in "hmailServer.ini" is not kept by the hmailServer installation/update progra

Hi Matt, During an update, everything is kept like Database password, AdministratorPassword, and other settings like LogLevel, etc. except the ValidLanguage string. After software update, the database can be opened without issue and I can also run hMailServer Administrator with the previous password...

The existing "ValidLanguages=" string in "hmailServer.ini" is not kept by the hmailServer installation/update program

Hi development team, When we want to use another language than English or Swedish for the hmailServer administrator tool (hMailAdmin.exe), we add this language to the hmailServer.ini file, for instance, below, for French: [GUILanguages] ValidLanguages=english, french, swedish (of course the correspond...

The DKIM signature is not added to E-mails sent from domains declared as aliases in the hmailServer settings

Hi development team, When a domain name (like "alias.com") is defined as an alias of another one (for instance "maindomain.com"), and if the DKIM Signing is enabled for "maindomain.com" in hmailServer settings, then the E-mails sent by the "alias.com" domain users, have no DKIM signature, while the ...
