in some cases these messages are rejected by external mail server.
Is there any way to set it to a non empty address other than using rules?

Hello,
I have a couple of installations in which the returned error messages are sent from an empty address instead of mailer-daemon@xyz.com but I am not able to find where to set it.

Re: UID not unique? Database corruption?

Martin, you are absolutely right.
I beg you pardon: I was so focused in understanding how to reproduce it that I have not fully checked for the error message.
And indeed you have fixed that problem in build 5.0 Beta Build 312 (2008-11-08).
Thank you, Paolo

From what I see it is not a problem of duplicated UID:

I am afraid I do not have IMAP logs for this.

Pause a message in the delivery queue and progress bar

In environments with very slow lines it could be good if there would be an option to pause a message (if it is very big it would have smaller emails wait for their delivery thread) and adding a progress bar (or a percentage) of the delivery of a message in the queue could help to decide what to do w...

I have done a complete backup of an installation to move to a new machine. Have you checked SQL? It caches records and if the number of records increases it uses more memory.
In our installation it starts with about 30 MB and after a few thousands messages it uses almost 150MB (but you can also limit its memory usage to a max value).
