You are right, I see that the process is MSSQL and not hMail that is quite stable.

Have you checked SQL? It caches records and if the number of records increases it uses more memory.
In our installation it starts with about 30 MB and after a few thousands messages it uses almost 150MB (but you can also limit its memory usage to a max value).

We have a backup server that routes all of the messages that it receives to our main server so if the problem is that the secondary server stops accepting messages from time to time we can live with that.

Multiple antivirus for me it is a good idea because many times I have seen that not every antivirus is updated at the same time so if you have different scanning engine from different brands you have more chance to catch new viruses.

You are right it does not work with remote servers but I did not find any suitable COM function to delete the file and I thought that in the mean time someone would be interested even with that limitation.

It would be nice if hMailAdmin could have this functionality so that an administrator could quickly delete a particular message.

I have checked and the data folder is set to
DataFolder=C:\Program Files\hMailServer\Data
and it was never changed.
From time to time we temporarily copy a subfolder (of a particular account) under c:\temp, but nothing else.

I understand the problem but I think that it should be up to the administrator to decide if he really needs to unlock the mailbox or wait the time out.
As a general rule you could have a setting in hMailserver.ini to decide to show or not some advanced (and possibly dangerous) features.

We are using stunnel with hMail too and it works very smooth (whilst when we were using ArgoSoft stunnel used to crash many times per day).
