Delete email accounts that haven't been used in x days
Is there a way to delete old unused email accounts? Over the years we've had so many people coming and going we have a ton of unused email accounts. But I have no idea who is still at the company or not. But if an email account hasn't been accessed in 30 days or so I am pretty darn sure that person ...

Distribution list error
When I try to setup a distribution list to only allow email from 1 account I get the following error: An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: Not authorized owner.. Please check the message recipient "staff@***.com" and try again. But the account I am using to send the email...

List of all email address in domain
Is there an easy way to get a list of all email addresses in hMailServer? We have around 130 users in our mail server and I need to create distribution list that contain almost everyone. If I could somehow get the complete list of all users I could then just delete the few that I don't need and past...

Is there a way in hMailServer to delete all mail for a specific account older than x number of days? I setup hMailServer with a mirror account to save a copy of all emails. But now after so much time the mirror account has gotten huge. I doubt management is going to ask for copies of emails 2 or 3 y...

Is it possible to create a rule that forwards emails that are from a specific email address sent to a specific email address to another email address? For example, say we are joeshmoe.com. Just curious, what would be considered the best way to go about changing a users email address. I have been going through our HMS log a lot later since we have a user that has been getting a ton of spam. But I see something that doesn't make sense to me in the log. It appears someone is trying to send an email to us that has the same from address as the to address. For example I see something ...

I know this is probably the wrong place to ask this but everywhere else only has linux specific info about Spamassassin.
Is there a way to creat a blacklist in the Spamassassin for Windows that hMailserver uses?
I can't figure out how to do this.

Hopefully that will go smoothly and I will then see about when to schedule the server migration.
Thanks again.

Re: Moving/Migrating onto a new server
We are currently using SQL Server 2005.
So I just run the latest install on the server and there should be no issue going from 5.3.3 to 5.6.4?
I never had a problem upgrading several times in the past, but this email server is used so much now I just figured "if it ain't broke don't fix it".

So I guess the first thing I should do is update to the latest version on the running server?
