Re: HCD - SSL-Simplification with Letsencrypt

I actually had read them. They're either outdated, incomplete, or not applicable (apache, extra tools, gyrations).

Your clue that it wants PEM files did help, and I finally got win-acme to produce all the correct files, but it's a specific set of steps through the [M]anual process of that tool.

Sorry to resurrect but I am not having success with win-acme 2.0 for getting SSL working with hMailServer. win-acme drops 2 files in a folder for me: a pfx and a pem. win-acme also installs the server for the domain mail.mydomain.com hMailServer wants a certificate file and a private key file, but t...

Office 365 HELO DNS

Office 365 is failing the DNS triplet test. Raising the issue with them, they published this . The failure I'm seeing is their HELO/EHLO doesn't resolve to the 104.47.x.x IP of the calling server, and the RDNS of the IP doesn't match the HELO/EHLO. Example: Calling from 104.47.33.209, RDNS = mail-bn...

It sounds like the larger request would be for a web UI that users could log into from anywhere (or at least from the LAN) to manage their own accounts to a limited degree:
  • Change password
  • Set vacation on/off
  • Manage account level rules
  • See messages held in a SPAM folder
