If you are using Clamav definitions only then you should be thankful that it is catching anything (even fp's). However if you are supplementing it with, for example, sanesecurity then it is likely that whatever it has caught and labelled as a virus is going to be true. I use clam AV and spamassassin...

If you don't have much mail i you accounts on hmailserver then you can just rename the domain. But beware: be patient! The process involves copying all the messages at os level before it completes so will take time to compete.

....and you didnt change HMS either.

But you HAVE changed the machine setup (by doing a reboot). Services stop and should restart (but maybe dont). Dependancies change. As Dravion says, check the service dependancies.

Perhaps you should review the detail behind the windows update KB4494351 (that caused you the problem). Maybe there are new features/securities in place that you need to work through. If you are using Spamassassin, you can whitelist the sender/domain in its setup (local.cf) so it will immediately bypass not perform any tests.

Nope. Except to say they are the only things i know (so far) that have caused similar symptoms. Your cause may not be the same but perhaps they might give you some food for thought for similar esoteric causes. (Every cause had a 1st time)

Several months ago there was a windows patch but also caused the same symptoms. It was only resolved after either the patch was removed or the subsequent fix patch was installed from Microsoft. No port 25 means you will only receive emails in the hmailserver by clients (connecting to pass a delivery request) on other ports or by pop3 external download collection; you won't be receiving outside emails from other servers any other way.

If you have a static ip and seeing up hms lb the end of that ip (presumably your home address) then why not simply point your mx dns entries for the domain to your static ip and send emails directly? Why do you want to channel through cloud flare servers?
