Backup Which Directories

I do daily backups of all critical stuff on my server, i was wondering what directories i should backup in hmailsevrer..

(right now i'm using an external mysql server, so i'm guessing there's no need to backup the mysql dir)

is it just the 'data' directory that needs backing up?

I seem to have it working, however for whatever reason, in Thunderbird i don't see the cert being stored (even though i'm connected using SSL)..

isn't it standard for thunderbird to download the server's cert?

Hah, sorry, i'm a tool. I didn't bother checking to see if the account even worked.. i typed "locahost".. :S

Might be helpful to you in the future though if you update the error to say something like "bad login" or something since the description is sorta vague..

It was my firewall, I had confused which direction the data was moving and had the ports set to accept packets on port 25 and not for sending packets on 25..

i did though.. this isn't running on my computer this is on a server with 1and1 so if they're blocking port 25.. well, that would be really stupid..

i'm gonna go check my firewall, it must be that..

thanks :)
